How your devices connect

One fleet, wherever your devices are.

Every device running Nucleic finds the fastest path to the rest — the local network when they're side by side, your private tailnet when they're apart, a relay when neither can reach the other. Today your iPhone reaches your Mac; the same fabric is growing into a full mesh, where any Nucleic node — Mac or iPhone — can discover and work with every other. Every path runs end-to-end encrypted.

Local network

On the same Wi‑Fi, devices find each other over Bonjour and connect directly.

Tailnet

Apart, they meet over your own Tailscale tailnet.

Nucleic Private Relay

A zero-config fallback for when neither device can reach the other. End-to-end encrypted.
